Back in June I did a post about a lamp I have at my kitchen window. I believe it was Sarah from Vintage Lily who made a suggestion about covering the cord. I made a note in my little TO DO spiral notebook and have tackled that project today!
I always keep a strip of hide-a-cord in my garage. I have a few wall-mounted lamps in my house and use these strips to hide the cords. They're easy to paint the color of the wall, and the peel-n-stick back mounts easily and stays secure.
Thanks, Sarah, for encouraging me to do it right!

I love your sweet little lamp at your kitchen window and what a clever tip. I have wall lights by my bed that have those strips for but I didn't know you could buy them for other lights. Thanks.

I just want to be the first to say if you are ever, ever getting rid of that lamp, may I please have first dibs? And while I'm at it, that lovely blue lamp in your bedroom as well.
Not that I have a thing for pretty lamps or anything...
You just seem to have great taste!

I love that lamp-I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't notice the cord... Seeing the photos side by side though-what a difference! YAY Sarah! xo-Mel
Oh! It looks great! So sorry it's taken me forever to respond. I have a bad habit of opening emails and then moving on--meaning to go back and respond. Just going through my emails and realized I never came over to see! I had a boss that once was CRAZY over the details (interior design) so it has stuck with me!
