Well, it's not exactly the craft room I dream of, but it's pretty darn close. On Saturday we migrated the TV from the rumpus room to the living room, and then books and videos. All my crafting supplies then made their way from the study into the rumpus room. The kitchen table in my bedroom has moved and become my crafting table. The sofa bed that was in the rumpus room has taken its place in my bedroom. After all was said and done, the rumpus room is no longer. This is Dawn E. Girl's Craft Room. Rumpussing will be done outside of these walls.
I gave it a test run this afternoon working on decorations for Andrea's baby shower this week at work. One of my antique store finds that debuted in the Craft Room is this small round cart on wheels. It holds everything that once littered my working space. I love it.
The bookshelf is now home to craft baubles and ribbons. The amoire (having made its journey from Harleigh's room, to an entertainment center) is now on its third use as a storage center for more supplies.
The room is already a disaster this evening, but I can just close the door and the mess is hidden. Love that. Love my Craft Room!

Congratulations! May you have many, many lovely hours of crafting in your new room.
Isn't it wonderful to have the creative space? Mine is not nearly as pretty, a corner of my basement...or my whole basement..! But I love going in there and getting lost in play! Congrats on the "new space!"
Have fun in your new room! I love mine!
Have a great day, Denise
It looks wonderful and very conducive to many hours of crafting fun.
Oh, wonderful! I'm so glad you have your space - it is bright and beautiful.
Your craft room is great! You lucky girl. How nice to have everything in one place and be able to close the door on unfinished projects and then start up when the door opens. And the room looks cute too!
