My friend Lisa came to visit me recently and her first comment when she came into the house and into the kitchen was "I can't believe you still have that little crappy TV!" But she said it with endearment, because it is such a part of what makes my home feel comfortable, lived-in, and full of sentimentality.

Don't Want To Say Goodbye

And I love that you posted this photo IN black and white.
Funny.
I know, sometimes progress leaves really fabulous things behind.
For a long time I had an old Oster blender. It was a terrible outdated yellow color and the buttons were all scratched. But it did such a solid job for me for so many years that it made me sad to get rid of it.
I bet you'll find something creative and decorative to do with it even when it's not in service for you anymore.
