And thank you, God, for Gideon

I was talking to my sister-in-law on the phone this morning, catching up, and sharing stories of our dogs. Getting Gideon was all about a pet for Harleigh. But I gotta tell ya, that boy has stolen a huge part of my heart. I can't imagine life without him. I feel safer under his watchful eyes. Comforted by his warm body snuggling on my lap (yes, he is a lap dog). Proud of his obedience and gentle ways (living at Chateau Gahan requires being careful around my collections and crafts).

I'm so very thankful for him.

Awww... he makes my heart melt, too. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Dawn, with great food (the menu sounded yummy) and lots of family.

It wasn't a holiday here - we had our Thanksgiving in October. Now we just have Christmas to look forward to. How many days...?

Truly one of the most handome fellows in blogland, but you already know I've had a little crush on him since I started reading your blog, right?

Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful.
