The plumber is here replacing my bathroom toilet (don't even ask . . . all I can say is that he said I had been sitting on a time bomb waiting to explode). And tomorrow the carpet installers come. In the meantime, most of my bedroom, Harleigh's bedroom, the craft room and four closets are emptied of everything minus the big pieces of furniture. For the past four days this is what my living room and study have looked like. Yikes. [We did agree that with all of the upheaval around here, we've gotten some good cleaning and purging done.]
This little cutie belongs in my craft room but is now in my foyer enjoying a different view of Chateau Gahan. I love her pantaloons. Wish we still wore pantaloons. They must have been the olden day version of the sweatpants.

whaaaaaaaaat? you've got to be kidding me.
Wait- you had to tear up the house again???????? Oh no.
Wait, where's that beautiful blue lamp from your bedroom!? It's okay, right. Nothing happened to it, right?
Oh, pardon my obsession, did I ever mention to you how much I adored that gorgeous blue lamp that was widely debated on whether it was too big for the nightstand?
Hope EVERY one of your posessions are just fine and imagine how clean and tidy everything will be when this is all over ;)

Oh, duh, there it is...I just blew up the picture, why didn't I think of that earlier.
Btw, I wish to call first dibs on the little rose lamp in the kitchen as well, you know if they every go up for auction or anything.
At least you know I pay attention to your posts, yes?

Bless you! I know you are ready for things to get back to normal. I am afraid to ask about the toilet. Jackie
Even with all your possessions stacked into your living area, it still looks inviting - like a charming well stocked shop. I hope your house woes are soon put to rest!
OMG Dawn, this looks exactly like what my house has looked like for 5 weeks! Except it was 4 rooms full of stuff. LOL I jhave only just begun getting things put back in place. Remodeling is not a fun job, and mine was only a little tiny one... Hope you get your plumbing woes rectified... oooh, I just realized I almost made a funny... did ya catch it?
