Today I enjoyed getting up early to greet the sweet West Highland Terrier we were dog sitting today, then ran a bunch of errands, paid bills and balanced the checkbook, and settled into my living room chair to watch TV, do paperwork, catch up with Harleigh on her day of babysitting (two kids' pool parties) and to simply relax. Haven't done that in quite awhile and it felt super wonderful.
Gideon was tuckered out from having a friend over all day and I was plain ol' ready to do nothing but contemplate my navel.

Isn't it funny that we forget how fun it is to just "be" sometimes? It always surprises me how much I enjoy it. We should all take your furry baby's approach....lay out flat on the cool floor and nap! :)
Have a great night...

Sounds like the perfect way to spend the day!

To answer your question about the stone house. We found it about 27-28 years ago in the woods behind my mother-in-laws house! I love it. When Heather was a little girl she and her best friend Heather (LOL) called it the ant house! They still do!
What a great day! Your doggie looks so relaxed. :)
