One of the great things about college is that you can pursue your own style without the confines of high school uniforms and restrictions AND you're surrounded by people who don't know you and therefore have no preconceived notions of what your style is and what it should be considering the "norms" of your pre-college peer groups. In other words, anything goes in the effort to express yourself, your new self, the self you're growing into, the skin you're coming to accept and be comfortable in.
Harleigh has always enjoyed vintage clothing and is loving that she can experiment with fashion in her new surroundings. She's made some darling outfits using vintage nightgowns, and I found this one during last weekend's thrifting that I think she'll make into a fantastic ensemble!

This a beautiful dress!! Lovely in every single way, color, style & the sweet touches added to it.
gorgeous photo dawn... gorgeous find too!
oh, i would LOVE to photograph harleigh in some of her thrifted pieces and ensembles! i just adore her style and free spirit.
The vintage gown looks like a dress.
She won't have to do to much to adjust it. Or at least I wouldn't!
You must be very happy about her choices.
