Gideon and the Couch

Yes, I'm one of those people who lets the family pet sleep on furniture. Granted, he must be clean, and preferably smelling just bathed. He's not opposed to camping out on the floor peering out the front window, or nestled in his bed next to the faint whirring of the refrigerator. He does, though, love him a good couch (and the ease of being able to wash slipcovers makes me happy).

  1. We let our animals sleep on the furniture as well. They only weigh about 10 pounds each but we still prefer them to be sweet smelling if possible. :) Have I told you before how much I adore that doggie of yours???

  2. Oh how I love Gideon! He is adorable.

Our pups sleep on the furniture too, but they have to be "invited" up (even though that doesn't always work - sometimes they take liberties). We have a leather sofa and chair in the living room. Easy to clean! But oh the dog hair in between the cushions.

  3. Ok I am strongly opposed to anyone who doesn't let their pets lay on the couch. They're family members!

SO good seeing you last night!

  4. Precious. I got a new recliner for Christmas and my cat sits in it more than me.

  5. I just love how relaxed and cozy he looks on the couch! I don't think I would have the heart to make him get off either :)
