When I turned my kitchen dining area into a kitchen den (ken), the small table and chairs needed a new home. My bedroom is huge, so I moved them there. The working space has proven to be perfect, especially if it's messy (like when it became gift-wrap central at Christmas time), because I can just close the bedroom door to hide it. When Harleigh said she wanted to work on a jigsaw puzzle, the bedroom kitchen came to the rescue! We can sit, turn on the radio, chat, put a puzzle together, and have some good mother-daughter time for the price of a dollar store jigsaw puzzle.
What a great idea. I love it! And your screen looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I was going to mention the screen, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThe screen is beautiful! I am also a member of the kitchen-table-in-the-bedroom club. We put the last piece in a puzzle this morning...a great relief as I really missed piling the table with my junk all week.
ReplyDeleteHi.
ReplyDeleteI am a little slow at returning your visit to my blog. I really don't have a solution to your problem. You could lay down cement pavers, that you mosaic-ed first. But make sure that you use thin set to adhere the mosaics and seal the grout with waterproof sealer when you are done, for any outside project.
The screen looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Denise
